Senior and portrait photography in Potsdam, NY

Senior pictures should feel like you. JD Meyers Productions offers portrait sessions starting at $150 in Potsdam and St. Lawrence County, with options for a quick session or more time for outfits and locations. Browse the gallery above, then share the look you have in mind.

Choose your session

Essential — $150: 30 minutes, one location and one outfit, with 15+ edited images delivered in 1–2 calendar weeks.

Signature — $225: one hour, up to two outfits and two nearby spots, with 30+ edited images delivered in 1–2 calendar weeks.

Premiere — $375: 90 minutes, two locations and up to three outfits, with 60+ edited images delivered within two calendar weeks.

A $50 deposit credits the total; balance due 48 calendar hours before the session. One primary subject is included; a second photographed person is +$50 and shares the total images/time. Unphotographed helpers are free; three or more photographed people use family pricing. Personal print rights and high-resolution downloads are included. Two seniors each wanting a full separate senior gallery book two sessions.

What if I feel awkward in front of a camera?

You do not need a finished posing plan to inquire. Tell me whether you prefer relaxed, candid-looking pictures, a more polished portrait, or a mix. A few example photos can help explain what you like. Also share anything you would like to avoid so we can discuss the session before you book.

Can I use my senior photos for the yearbook?

Send your school’s deadline and photo requirements before scheduling. Schools may specify a background, crop, clothing, image dimensions or submission method. One yearbook crop/export from an included selected image is free when requirements are supplied at booking, delivered within the normal gallery timeline. You submit it to school; additional format requests $25 each. Plan around editing time and your school’s deadline.

What should I bring?

Choose clothes you feel comfortable wearing and bring the outfits you want to discuss. If you would like sports gear, an instrument, a cap and gown, a friend or a pet included, mention that in your inquiry. Confirm the plan, location access and timing in advance rather than assuming every addition fits a 30-minute session.

Light temporary-blemish retouching is included; detailed work starts at $35/image, quoted first. Portfolio privacy is free when requested before your session. Read all senior, portrait, family and booking answers. New rates apply from October 3, 2026; existing signed agreements retain their terms. Travel, approved extras and applicable tax are itemized before booking.
